Main Roads Construction Traineeship
This traineeship is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to build their future towards working in the construction industry. This is your opportunity to complete a Certificate I or II in Construction while gaining valuable hands-on experience on actual road construction projects! The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking “expressions of interest” from Indigenous under-graduates studying at any tertiary institution in Queensland.
Cadetships are in the following area’s:

  • 2 in Wet Tropics Management

Business Administration Course
Jobs Queensland in conjunction with Smart City Vocational College is seeking interest from individuals wishing to undertake a Business Administration course. The business course is FREE to eligible clients. The course will cover several units from the nationally accredited Certificate II in Business. This is a PARTIAL qualification not a full certificate. Get Set For Work - Aimed at unemployed or at risk
Community Employment Option Inc has recently developed a new program, Get Set For Work. The Get Set For Work program is designed for young people between the ages of 15 – 17 who are unemployed or are at risk of disengaging from school or formal education.
